Ashly's Birthday

Well I have to say that I had a really good birthday yesterday. I had all my kiddos and my sweet husband. What more could I ask for? Kaily and Peyton got to help me blow out my candles and Sadee got to watch. Then we all got to sit around and watch the Cowboys. Too bad the Cowboys didn't win. As for my Fantasy Football Team Pink Princess...I am now 4-0 and still 1st in my league. Scott's team also blew it up and won by many many points!! He went from 6th place to 3rd place I believe. So, YAY for Ashly and Scott!

The kids are singing Happy Birthday to me here

Blowing out the candles!

Kaily and Peyton got to pretend it was their birthdays and blew out a candle of their own

Here is Sadee cheering on the Cowboys

Go Cowboys!

Frank Kent Soccer

Scott recently joined an indoor soccer league with his fellow workers up at Frank Kent. After many injuries including some broken ribs by a couple of the players, quite a few raspberries, and tons of bruises, Team Frank Kent is wrapping up their first season. Soccer is a much rougher sport than I ever imagined! These pictures were taken before their second to last game. If I would've taken them after the game, there wouldn't be near as many smiles! They were actually winning the game until 30 seconds before the buzzer sounded but the other team scored due to one of the refs failing to call a foul on the kicker who wasn't playing fair. The game ended in a tied game since there are no tie-breakers in this league. They did great in my opinion considering the fact that more than half of the team has never played organized soccer in their lives and they didn't have but one practice the whole season! Scott of course played his whole life and kicks butt. He gets special mention...it is of course our blog page! Enjoy the photos!

Sadee likes to cheer Daddy on. Go, Daddy!

I'm his biggest fan

Our New House Continued

I realized that I hadn't put any pictures of the outside of our house on my page and so I decided to go ahead and put a few.

Closer up...I love our front door!

Our New House

Well, we've finally moved into the new house and man, has it been hectic! I never realized how much stuff we had until we started unpacking it all! Anyway, we've really been enjoying our new home. This weekend, we had family up from Houston since Hurricane Ike decided to visit the state and it was fun. Thankfully, my relative's homes did not get a lot of damage but they are out of power for quite some time. Kaily and Riley played the whole time.

Sadee has definitely gone through some sort of growth spurt recently. She is eating all of her home made food wonderfully and I have now started feeding her 3 times a day. The little piglet is always hungry...but that's a great sign that she's growing nicely. She loves looking at books as you can see in the pictures. On Monday, Sept. 22, 2008 she will officially be 6 months - half a year old. My how time flies! Her 6 month check up is on Monday and I am definitely dreading the immunizations.

As for the Fantasy Football, my Pink Princesses kicked booty once again and I am 2-0. I know that there is a lot of season left, but I have a good feeling that I'm at least going to make it to the playoffs. As for Team Mullet, they didn't do so hot so Scott's team is now 1-1. Oh well, hopefully he'll do better next time. Until next time...Adios!

Sunday Football

FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL AND MORE FOOTBALL was the highlight of the day today! Both Scott and Ashly have our own Fantasy Football teams- Ashly's is called Team Pink Princess and Scott's is called the Mullets. Scott is still teaching me how it all works. We're kicking some Fantasy Football butt as of now but we'll see how it all ends up. On the other hand, Kaily and Peyton got to help out making chocolate cobbler. My babies love helping out in the kitchen!

Peyton's First Soccer Game

Ashly, Kaily and Sadee trekked it out to Arlington today to cheer Peyton on at his first soccer game of the season. This is his second season to play and he has really improved since last season. We are so proud of him! He's going to be just like Daddy. Daddy wished he could have been there but he had to work. Good thing I caught a little bit of him playing on video. If you can see him, Peyton is #2.

Sadee

Sadee started rolling over today! I am still in the process of trying to capture that on video, but everytime she sees the camera she just stops and stares at it. But so far, me and Scott have seen her roll over 3 times today from her stomach to her back! We don't know if she can do it from her back to her stomach yet but we will see. She has also found her feet and loves sticking her toes in her mouth. I have been able to catch that one so enjoy the photos!

Daddy and the girls go out to dinner

Mommy and Daddy take the girls out to dinner and Scott loves walking Sadee around the restaurant showing her new things. Once Sadee saw the fish pond, it was over. What a dad!
